Parliament’s first deputy speaker, Zahir Qadir also said, “Wolesi Jirga has previously said to introduce those former commissioners who committed crimes not appointing them as advisers and consultants.”

A number of Parliament members criticized the government and President’s decrees and claimed that President Ghani violated the law in terms of election law, disqualified minister continue to work and appointment of 13 former members of election commission.

“Article 109 expressly states that the National Assembly in the final year of its work cannot debate over the election law, but the article cannot be inferred that the government can accept the decree of election without sending it to the National Assembly,” said Abdul Qayum Sajadi, lawmaker.
