Policeman including 4 civilian killed in Kandahar suicide bombing

Four civilians including a policeman were killed and ten others wounded on Thursday in a suicide bombing in Spin Boldak district of southern Kandahar province, officials said.
Spokesman of Kandahar police headquarters, Zia Durani confirmed the incident saying the attack took place around 01:00 PM this afternoon where the short gun battle between the security officials and insurgents continued for about 30 minutes.
“The two attackers have been killed by security forces but ten policemen injured in the incident.” Durani added.
Taliban’s spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid claimed responsibility behind the attack.
This comes as Afghanistan government for the first time will have talks with the armed Taliban group next month.
