President criticized lack of coordination between Security Institutions
President Ghani criticized lack of coordination between Afghanistan security institutions on Monday during a session with Ministry of Defense (MoD) high rank officials.
“Capacities are available, but there is no coordination between MoD, Ministry of Interior (MoI) and National Directorate of Security (NDS),” Ghani said.
In addition, he asked MoD high rank officials to increase their one year action plan to 5 years operational action plans.
Security officials confirmed the President statements and believe that inter-coordination between the three security organs will improve their activities in fight against terrorists.
Dawlat Waziri, Deputy Spokesman of MoD said,” president Ghani provided guidelines to improve and reinforce the weaknesses where we face challenges.”
These statements come after Kabul – the Capital of Afghanistan witnessed at least 10 coordinated attacks during the week by terrorists.
