Suicide bomber killed, three injured near Nimruz governor’s office: officials

A suicide bomber was killed and three others were injured near the governor’s office in Afghanistan’s southwest Nimruz province on Sunday, officials said.
Abdul Matin Qani, the spokesman of the Interior Ministry, said on X that the attacker was trying to enter the building when he was killed by the security forces.
The explosives he was carrying detonated as a result of which three security officials were injured, he said.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Qasim Khaled, governor of Nimroz, said: “I am absolutely fine. Three of our colleagues were slightly wounded and taken to the hospital.”
