Suicide bombers target police station in Russia

Suicide bombers have attacked police station in Russia’s Stavropol region on Monday, according to the RT news agency, quoting a police source.

It is unclear how many suicide attackers were involved in the incident while reports say the attackers has failed to harm any officers or civilians.

 “Two militants were killed in an attack on a police station in Stavropol region. One of them was killed while trying to pass a checkpoint. The other one managed to detonate his explosive device,” RT quoted a local police official.

Stavropol region is located in southern Russia, close to the turbulent Northern Caucasus.
