WFP officials were forced to seek alternative routes to ensure the food reached vulnerable children without significant delays.
The NRC has already provided cash assistance to over 4,300 displaced individuals and plans to extend support to another 4,000 in the coming days.
A source familiar with the issue said: "It hasn’t been a serious consideration because it’s not really a serious option at this moment."
