Taliban safe houses destroyed in Dand-i- Ghori: MOI

Officials in Ministry of Interior Affairs have stated that Afghan security forces have destroyed a huge number of Taliban safe houses in Dand –i- Ghori district of Baghlan Province.

Ministry of Interior Affairs Sediq Sediqee said,” Afghan security forces are fully prepared for war against terrorists in coming season.”

War in Dand –i- Ghori of Baghlan continued for 12 days and in the period of time Afghan security forces have killed 119 of Taliban and injured 100.

“Most of the safe house of the Terrorist in Dand –i- Ghori has been destroyed after Afghan Security forces launched clearance operations, we will use all possible options to remove them from there Sediq Sediqee the MoI spokesman said.”

Meanwhile Ministry of Defense Spokesman Dawlat Waziri said,” we are engaging with Terrorists in 10 provinces of the country,this is rare in war history where Taliban have launched offensive against Afghan Government in winter season.”

A number of Afghans believed that the memorandum of understanding which was signed by Taliban and Minister of Tribal and borders has encouraged Taliban to expand their activities.

Baghlan Provincial council member Mohammad Zarif Zarif said,” Kabul residents should hang the Minister of tribal and borders Gulab Mangal for signing MoU with Taliban.”

Afghan security forces are engaging with Taliban, while NATO believed that if the Government of Afghanistan fails in peace process, there will be a tough bloody war incoming season.
