Tent Dwellers Express Deep Concerns on Economy situation in Kabul
A number of tent dwellers have expressed deep concerns over the existed economy condition in the capital city of Kabul.
They have said,” no cooperation of the Afghan business men and Afghan Government has caused them suffer from the situation in the winter season, saying we seldom find our family members health they are always suffering from winter disease, if the Government doesn’t take care we will have to immigrate once again to our neighboring countries.”
Afghans have always paid the prices of the certain condition such winter season in the past several years in the following season the prices of basic foods rocks and poor families could provide it.
In the picture you see a poor family living about 15 miles away from the President palace they pass their days and nights under the tent they have provided for the first snow has made us worried the most because the weather gets more cold and the head of the family couldn’t find things to warm up the tent.
We don’t have proper house, fire wood, and even sufficient food to eat, neither the Government has come to help us nor other Afghan businessmen, we demand the Government to help us out said the family member.
They have also complained about unemployment saying if they don’t get helped to find a job they may leave Afghanistan for neighboring countries.
Based on the estimation of the Ministry of repatriation and migrants about 69 thousand Afghan displaced persons have been registered in United Nation high commissionaire, where 3 thousand families are living in different parts of the capital.
