Three members of one family killed, 11 wounded in Herat
Three members of one family were killed and 11 others wounded by unknown gunmen on Tuesday night in Injil district in western Herat province, local officials confirmed Wednesday.
Abdul Ahad Walizada, spokesman for Herat police, said the family had been visiting Injil district when the incident took place.
Walizada said two women and a child were killed.
The main cause of the attack is not clear yet.
Herat police said they have launched an investigation into the shooting.
