Torkham reopens after four-day border closure
According to the interior ministry, three civilians were killed. They were reportedly a woman and two children.
Torkham crossing was reopened on Thursday morning after having been closed four days ago following clashes between Afghan and Pakistani forces.
The crossing, a key trade and transit route between Afghanistan and Pakistan, was shut after Pakistani forces fired on Afghan forces who were allegedly establishing a checkpoint in the Ghoraki area in Nangarhar.
