University entrance exam ends in Kabul

Ministry of Higher Education conducted the sixth round of university entrance examination in Kabul province. As many as 12,000 candidates including 400 girls appeared in the test.

Officials in ministry of higher education said that the first round of university entrance exam started from Bamyan and ended on Tuesday in Kabul.

Spokesman of the ministry of higher education noted that it is scheduled that 54,588 candidates around Afghanistan would be enrolled in governmental higher education institutes, 36,000 would be enrolled in semi-higher education and 40,000 candidates would be enrolled to private higher education institutes.

Abdul Azim Noor Bakhsh, spokesman of ministry of higher education said, “The process of entrance exam was transparent and the entrance exam of 38 districts all across the country conducted in sixth round in Kabul.”

The Afghan candidates for the entrance exam were satisfied but urged the ministry of higher education to announce the result by the end of the current year.

Officials in ministry of higher education said that great measures have been taken for the announcement of result and the result will be ascertained before the beginning of the New Year.
