US to deliver 12 fighting aircrafts to Afghanistan

The Afghan Air Force (AAF) will receive another 12 A-29 Super Tucano fighting aircrafts from the United States during a period of three months.
The commander of the Afghan Air Force General Abdul Wahab Wardak said the US is committed to deliver another 12 A-29 Super Tucano fighting aircrafts to Afghan Air Forces in another three months.
Earlier the United States handed over 9 A-29 Super Tucano fixed wing light attack aircraft to the Afghan forces aiming to provide major boost to Afghanistan Air Force.
According to the officials in the Afghan Ministry of Defense, Afghan forces capabilities have been boosted in the battlefields after receiving the air support equipment.
