War in Afghanistan will be tough next year: Carter
The United States secretary of Defense Ash Carter has stated that war in Afghanistan will be intensified incoming spring, saying Afghan National security forces should be more powerful to enter the combat sessions.
Ashton Carter said that the Washington commitments is only for the year 2016,it’s the year of 2017 and beyond that.
We expect the Afghan National security forces to enter the war with full power comparing to previous presence, Now its going to be tough, there is no question about it, I was in Europe last week and met with President Ghani, he fully understand that as does the CE Abdullah Carter added.
“We will remain in Afghanistan for long period of time, President Ghani has committed that two members of the coalition forces to stay in Afghanistan for the year of 2016, 2017 and beyond that, because indirect air supports for Afghan National Security forces will enable them to fight with power against the enemies US Defense Minister Ash Cartersaid.”
The statement comes after that US Government has appointed the successor for Gen John Campbell the International forces commander in Afghanistan, Gen, John Nicholson to run the affairs.
