12 uprising, 7 Taliban killed in Ghazni clash

The armed Taliban attack on late Wednesday in the central Ghazni province in Andar district killed 12 members of a pro-government militia (uprising civilians) and wounded another 5.

Deputy Governor of Ghazni province, Muhammad Ali Ahmadi confirmed the incident, saying seven Taliban were also killed and six others injured.

The source added that the leader of the uprising civilians in Andar District is among the corpses.

The armed Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack on the checkpoint and captured the uprising center.
