Afghanistan foreign policy unbalance against region: analysts

 A number of Afghan analysts said that Afghanistan foreign policy is unbalance against the neighboring countries and the region.

They declared that President Ghani’s trip to India has strengthened ties and trust between Kabul and New Delhi but Afghanistan foreign policy needs to be balanced.

After the formation of national unity government, President Ghani’s first three-day trip to India followed welcome of many people and cleared concerns over Afghanistan-Pakistan ties against relation with India.

Afghan analysts are said to believe such travels are essential for the country and probably president’s recent trip to India was full of achievements.

Afghan economic analysts also hope that the recent trip causes Afghanistan recession economy on feet.

Nasratullah Istanik Zai, teacher of university said, “President’s recent trip was positive and such trips have effective impact in the balance of regional policy.”

However, international relations analysts believe that Afghanistan foreign policy is not balanced and this issue even caused the recent insecurities.

“Afghanistan failed to maintain its foreign policy balance against the neighboring countries and the region. One of the factors of the recent insecurities in the country is the lack of balance in the foreign policy of the government,” Latif Nazari, international relation analyst said.

In President’s three-day trip to India, President Pranab Mukherjee has also said that India will always stand firmly beside Afghanistan as a friend and neighbor and Asserting that the cooperation between New Delhi and Kabul has neither an expiry date nor a timeline.

Afghanistan and India have signed several agreements in President’s recent trip and it has been said that a joint chamber of commerce is formed between the two countries.
