Afghanistan Lawyer’s Union Criticize on not Establishing Electoral Reformation Committee

Head of the Afghanistan lawyer’s Union Abdul Ghauir Ghauir said,” Afghan leaders should do any reformation on Afghanistan Electoral system as soon as possible because the existed committee in Independent Election Commission IEC has lost its values based on the rules and laws.”

He added that if the Parliamentary Election doesn’t take place on its determine date Afghanistan will face new crisis and Afghan parliament will also lost its legality perspective.

Mr. Ghauir said,” though there are less than 100 days to go for parliamentary Election still there is no information on parliamentary Election in IEC, We as Afghan lawyers express our deep concerns and demand the Afghanistan National Unity Government to do reformation on Afghanistan’s Election system.”

Meanwhile the deputy of the Afghanistan lawyer Union Gul Madadzai demanded the urgent establishing of the electoral reformation committee, warning of the Government doesn’t do much it will be an Election crisis.

Mr. Madadzai based on the Afghanistan constitution article 156 the current existed IEC has lost its values and credits.

Lawyers during a declaration letter have warned that Afghan Government will be responsible if the parliamentary election doesn’t hold on its determined date.
