Afghanistan’s CE assures Indian Foreign Secretary for further Kabul-Delhi relations in NUG
Afghanistan’s CE Abdullah Abdullah met S. Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary of India on Wednesday at Kabul.
Abdullah pointed out to India’s long-term relation with Afghanistan during the meeting with his India counterpart saying, India has supported Afghanistan in various sectors and the NUG is looking for further Kabul-Delhi relations.
He thanked S. Jaishankar for his country supporting Afghanistan during difficult times.
Mr. Jaishankar, who flew into Kabul from Islamabad also assured that India is committed to continue its cooperation and stand by the new government of Afghanistan.
He added, we support Afghan-led peace talks, Afghanistan must become a contacting point between Asian countries.
India Foreign Secretary visits Afghanistan to hold talks with the Afghan leadership aiming to firm up ties and review the regional and bilateral cooperation.
