Badakhshan Residents held Demonstration on Resignation of Local Officials in Kabul

A number of the Badakhshan residents have held demonstration in Kabul close to the Presidential palace demanding resignation of the senior local officials in Badakhshan till the end of coming week.

They have warned that Taliban by having close cooperation of the local officials have attacked and beheaded 27 Afghan National Army ANA soldiers in Jurm district of Badakhshan Province.

Advocacy process continued for Afghan National Army ANA by the Badakhshan residents by giving slogans death to local Governmental officials in Badakhshan.

Residents of Badakhshan during their demonstration demanded the local official’s resignation by the end of this week, and those who neglected should also be sentenced voice of the demonstrators.

The angry demonstrators have also demanded the Government not to let (IS) Dahesh to have safe houses in Badakhshan Province.

At one voice the demonstrators asked the President to take action on the aspect and end Taliban program production in Badakhshan.

Taliban armed gunmen had attacked Afghan National Army base in Jurm district of Badakhshan Province about a week ago where 27 Afghan National Army were beheaded, dozens were injured lots of Afghan National Army’s ammunitions, weapons, cars were seized by the Taliban, Taliban had attacked on the base early morning the fighting continued up to 8:00 Am in the morning.

Meanwhile Interior Minister of Afghanistan Noorulhaq Ulomi had said,” i will take the revenge of the Afghan National Army blood from Taliban.”

Recent reactions of the Badakhshan residents comes after Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani visited Badakhshan Province on Saturday and expressed his condolence to the victim’s family members.
