Afghanistan Chief Executive Officer, ‘CEO’, Abdullah Abdullah in commemoration of the international day for Access to Information Law, criticized the 13 years governance of former president, Hamid Karzai.

He also said that a politician should not include its private  node into politics.

He warned that the justification of Taliban violence by Hamid Karzai shows the illegitimacy of his 13-years governance.

“Whoever announces the lack of war’s illegitimacy should say why has he controlled the war himself?,” said CEO, Abdullah Abdullah.

Meanwhile, CEO considered access to information law is a need based on the constitution.

However, a number of representatives of UN administrative criticized the government over its failure in fulfilling commitments on access to information law.

Previously, Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has sharply criticized new authorities giving the US military greater freedom to fight Taliban insurgents, saying they were a further erosion of the country’s sovereignty.

In an interview, Karzai, who continues to exert considerable behind-the-scenes influence on Afghan politics, also called on the Islamist militant movement to be more realistic in demands that have hampered progress in peace talks.

His comments on American involvement in the war were at odds with the government of his successor, President Ashraf Ghani, which has welcomed US political and military support.

Calling Afghanistan the victim of a 21st century version of the “Great Game” between competing powers on the 19th century borders of British India, Karzai blamed the United States and Pakistan for “a war that is not ours”.
