Kabir says official diplomatic ties will soon be established with some countries
Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy prime minister, says the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan will soon establish official diplomatic relations with a number of countries.
During his trip to Iran and meetings with Afghan diplomats and businessmen in Tehran, Kabir said that the Islamic Emirate is in a good position politically in the region and the world.
He added that the IEA wants positive relations with the world, especially Islamic countries, and for this purpose, the acting government now has active embassies and political representation in a number of countries.
Kabir stated that after the victory of the IEA, making the country self-sufficient has been the priority of the caretaker government and efforts are underway to find solutions for the problems of Afghans inside and outside the country.
On the second day of his trip to Tehran, Kabir also met with the Minister of Interior of Iran.
In this meeting, he discussed the relations between the two countries and the problems of Afghan immigrants in Iran and promised to cooperate with the country.
