Kabul Bank scandal to be clear soon: Gen. Dostum

Afghanistan first vice president said on Monday that the government of national unity will take back the missing money’s of Kabul Bank and those who involved in this scandal will be punished.

During the introduction ceremony of finance ministry, Gen. Abdul Rashid Dustom, first vice president stressed that the national unity government promised Afghan people to clear out the Kabul Bank scandal.

In the meantime, Akil Ahmad Hakimi, the new finance minister promised to fight against corruption and manage their plans according to the national interest.

“I promise to implement the law and to bring reforms in revenue and customs sectors.” Hakimi said.

At the same time, Dawood Shah Saba, the new minister of Mines and Petroleum said to create an advisory council for further transparency in mining sector.

The new minister of mines and petroleum, Dawood Shah Saba said, “first of all, I will create an advisory council and will manage all policies according to the national interest. Many facilities will be provided for national contributions and the mineral industry will be developed.”

The new minister of mines and petroleum also said to attack foreign investors for the extraction of mines.
