Lashkar Gah Suicide Bombing leaves 2 dead, 18 injured

One policeman and a civilian were killed and 18 others, including five children wounded in a suicide car bombing in Lashkar Gah, provincial capital of southern Helmand province.
Spokesman for acting governor of Helmand province, Omar Zwak confirmed the incident and said the suicide bomber who was driving a corolla vehicle laden with explosives targeted a convoy of Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) around 02:30 PM Thursday.
Officials in Helmand emergency hospital said that 18 injured have been brought to the hospital so far.
