MPs asking political and national gatherings against terrorists

A number of Afghan lawmakers say that slogans to fight against terrorists are useless unless we form a political and national gathering against these groups.

MPs referring to President Ghani remarks in Badakhshan saying the president must have a strong commitment and achieve the support of Afghans in this regard.

Sayed Ali Kazemi a member of the Lower House said,” Considering the current situation it is the time to form a national and political gathering to fight against terrorists in Afghanistan, the government must support and motivate people and prove this commitment in action”.

President Ghani asked the Afghan nation on Saturday to stand in line with their Afghan security forces and announce Jihad or a Holy War against terrorists who would like to kill Afghans and devastate our country.

Another MP Mohammad Hashim Faryabi said,” We appreciate president Ghani massage asking announcing Jihad against terrorists, but Afghans must be assured, in this case they will stand in line with their proud security forces”.

Furthermore; An Afghan MP believe that Jihad against terrorists who kill Afghans is a must and obligatory.

Lawmaker Ashuqullah Wafa said,” Jihad is obligatory against any foreigner or anyone who attacks our country and kills Afghans”.

In addition to the President demand for Jihad, earlier Jihadi leader Abdul Rab Rasoul Sayaf and religious scholars called Afghan Security Forces conflict with terrorists to defend the country a Jihad (Holy War) and those who losses their lives as martyrs.
