MPs, Citizens Want Cabinet Introduced Immediately
Members of Wolesi Jirga—Lower House of the Parliament—and the citizens of capital Kabul have urged the new government to introduce the new cabinet as soon as possible.
Expressing deep concerns over the performance of acting ministers, the MPs and citizens warned of disorder and irregularities if the current situation continued.
Disfavoring the delay in introduction of new cabinet, the citizens called on the Government of National Unity to let only eligible and qualified persons make their way to the cabinet.
The National Unity Government was formed about one month ago but the cabinet is yet to be introduced to the Parliament.
The President Ashraf Ghani is expected to introduce the members of new cabinet before the London summit which is due on December 4, 2014.
