Mps criticize over huge corruption in projects
Members of the lower house of the parliament have insisted that corruption does exist in huge contracts documents indicated.
They have stated that documents which have been delivered to procurement committee indicated that none transparent signed contracts received.
Mps have summoned the procurement committee members at the house to provide more details over the none transparent documents delivered to the following committee.
Law maker Sherin Mosini said,” corruption does exist, most of the projects contracts were signed based on the personal ties.”
“Corruption should be prevented, transparency must be taken over the projects contracts Mp Abdulqadir zazai said,”
Minister of Finance Iklil Hakimi said,” corruption has been left as legacy, there are major corruption within the projects, what we have done is to save billions of Afghani from the projects after reviewing which are being implemented or to be implemented.”
“Most of the challenges from the procurement committee is being resolved and efforts are underway to respect more transparency over the projects to be signed in the future Minister of Justice Abdul Basir Anwar said,”
Members of the procurement committee urged that we have reviewed 900 big and small projects which it costs 169 billion Afghani which 725 projects has been approved by the president of Afghanistan.
