Pakistan still not ready to facilitate Afghan-Taliban Peace Talks: sources

 A source in the national unity government on condition of anonymity told to Ariananews that Pakistan is still not ready to facilitate Afghanistan-Taliban peace talks.

The source noted that President Ghani’s main focus is bringing peace to the country; therefore, messages are exchanged between Islamabad and the Kabul through writings.

While bargaining continues on peace talks between Afghanistan and Pakistan that insecurity situation is increasing in the country.

Bashir Ahmad Tayenj, deputy of parliamentary peace group said, “With the current ongoing insecurity in Afghanistan, it has been seen that Pakistan is not committed for peace talks.”

It has been said the Pakistan government has always sought to deceive Afghanistan; therefore, it had never stood by its commitments to Afghanistan.

“Pakistan always suggests sweet baits to every government for deceiving” Farhang, political analyst said.

Efforts for peace talks in Afghanistan are led by President Ashraf Ghani.

Previously, Presidential Palace said about beginning a new chapter in Pakistan’s cooperation.
