Afghanistan and Pakistan agrees to allow commercial transit vehicles to pass directly through Waga port of Pakistan to Afghanistan effective 20th of January 2015.

Ministry of Commerce and Industries has confirmed the report saying that goods will officially pass through this port starting tomorrow.

Now Afghan Businessmen can import their goods to the country through this port located in border between India and Pakistan.

Pakistan has not allowed Afghan merchants to utilize this border during the last 13 years.

Pakistan opened the border after Afghan government on Saturday has set a three day deadline to allow transit vehicles from Afghanistan to pass directly through to the Waga port unless Afghan government will begin stopping Pakistani trucks from passing through its borders too.
