Turkish prime minister in his trip to Paksitan once again emphasized on creating stability in Afghanistan.

Ahmed Dawood Oglu, Turkish Prime Minister noted that creating a joint mechanism between Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan is essential.

“A tripartite summit between the three countries will be held in the coming months to improve ties and joint cooperation which the main topic for this summit will be stability in Afghanistan.” Dawood Oglu said.

Meanwhile, a number of Afghan analysts are said to consider Turkey’s role effective in bringing peace and stability in Afghanistan.

Mirdad Nijrabi, Afghan analyst said, “Pressures on Pakistan by countries of the world caused Islamabad changes its policy against Afghanistan.”

Another Afghan military analysts, Jawid Kohestani said, “Turkey’s mediation in the past caused tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan reduce. I hope the tripartite summit will have a positive result too.”

Ahmet Dawood Oglu has described this relationship as “exemplary” even if the two countries do not border, but are close. A recent survey in Kabul of 1,259 people shows that Afghanistan rely mostly on Turkey, and consider Turkey to be Afghanistan’s one and only true, best friend.
