The remaining cabinet members with the exception of minister of defense will be refer to the Wolesi Jirga (WJ) for a vote of confidence tomorrow, ministry of Parliamentary affairs said.

The ministry of Parliamentary affairs said that the documents of 16 nominees have been reviewed and completed and none of the ministerial nominees have problem with the commitments of presidential citadel and the House of Representatives.

The remained ministerial nominees to be enter to Wolesi Jirga tomorrow with two basic pre-conditions that president Ghani committed to them; not being duplicate and not having dual citizenship.

Ghulam Nabi Farahi, minister of Parliamentary affairs said, “The reason for delay in introducing the ministerial nominees links to the Wolesi Jirga. The documents of the ministerial nominees were signed by president one week ago but the Wolesi Jirga has not published in its agenda in accordance to its programs.”

Meanwhile, the administrative board of Wolesi Jirga announced that the introduction of defense minister would remain in the next round which is believed to be next week.

Nazir Ahmad Ahmad Zai, second deputy speaker of Wolesi Jirga said, “The remaining ministerial nominees to be officially introduced to Wolesi Jirga on Wednesday and as committed the defense minister will be introduced in the coming week.”
