At the end of the meeting, the Secretary General of the Norwegian Committee thanked the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for its cooperation.
The minister also said the government is pursuing policies to increase domestic agricultural production and reduce dependence on imports.
Over the past year, some 2 million Afghans have returned from Iran, highlighting the urgent need for economic opportunities, especially for women, said UNHCR.
Japan has remained one of the major donors to Afghanistan’s humanitarian and development efforts.
