Taliban confirmed delegation hold talks with Chines officials
Taliban group officials confirmed the recent rumors about their delegation sent to China to hold talks with Chines officials.
Officials in Taliban group told BBC in Islamabad that their delegation visited China in late November to meet with the Chinese officials and discuss issues related to Afghanistan.
According to Taliban group, the delegation was led by Qari Din Mohammad who is a member of the Taliban political office in Doha.
Taliban give no further information about the visit with Chinese officials but emphasized that China acts as an international partner to Afghanistan and Afghanistan praises talks with China.
Earlier, some of the media outlets in the region also reported that the Afghanistan government of national unity secretly discuss with Taliban group to reach agreement for peace.
