Afghanistan High Peace Council said that by signing the Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA) between Kabul-Washington, America should do more effort to bring peace in the country.

Muhammad Esmael Qasem Yar, Afghan High Peace Council International Adviser said that peace will come to the country up to the next six months in condition that Afghan government, the neighboring countries and America want peace in the country.

US special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan emphasized that the peace process should be carried by Afghans.

“Afghanistan faces many tests and works and America enthusiastically supports the government of national unity.” Feldman said.

The High Peace Council praised America’s decision to bring peace in the country but is said to consider Taliban’s strength a serious threat for brining peace and stability to the country.
