Violence against Women increases: Muzhghan

Officials in Ministry of Women Affairs have said,” in the past 11 months 4000 violence cases has been registered within their Ministry where 110 cases were only raping cases.”

Officials in Ministry of Haji and religion claimed that implementation of no law and regulation is counted as one of the factors for increasing of violence against Women and children in Afghanistan.

Acting Minister of Women Affairs Muzhghan Mostafavi said,” we have recorded 4000 violence cases across the country where 110 cases are raping cases with big shame this happens in an Islamic Government.”

Despite of Islamic Ulema roles in decreasing of violence against Women officials in Ministry of Women have still demanded the Ministry of Haji and Religion more cooperation to be made to decrease violence against Women and children in the country.

Head of the mosques in Ministry of Haji and religion Abdul Malik Zaiee said,” in the past 13 years different human beings were forced by violence 2 year old, 5 year old and even Women are raped but Officials in Government have yet to take serious actions and sentence the perpetrators of the cases.”

This comes after 5000 cases of violence were registered where 174 cases were raping cases.
