ANSF takes nationwide security responsibilities
Starting January 1, 2015 Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) took the full security responsibility of the country.
President Ashraf Ghani said that from now on Afghan forces will take all decisions and emphasized on the accountability and transparency of financial sources of the security institutions.
Ghani on the first day of security responsibility transition to Afghan forces praised the efforts of former president Karzai and his international partners.
“Now, Afghan security forces have the ability to provide security all across Afghanistan” Ghani noted.
President Ghani urged the Afghans citizenships, especially civil institutions, Religious scholars, media outlets and women to announce their support for Afghan forces and help them in the fight against terrorism.
