Cabinet delayed for week while CEO candidates ready

Alemi Balkhi, one of the closest allies of the Chief Executive Officer of the National Unity Government said that Abdullah Abdullah have already finalized a list of the nominated ministers and awaiting for the President to introduce the cabinet to Afghan Parliament.

In addition, Balkhi rejected any disagreement in CEO Office and said that they are ready to introduce their nominated ministers, but they are waiting for the president to introduce the cabinet to the House of Representatives – Wolesi Jirga.

On the other hand a close associate of the President said that there are a large number of groups whom would like to take part in the future cabinet which have resulted delays in cabinet introduction for at least one more week.

Mueen Marastial who was one of President Ghani supporters during election campaigns stated that the cabinet has delayed because a number of influential circles are trying to have their own part in the new government.

Before President Ghani joins the London Summit, he promised to introduce the new cabinet between two to four weeks and CEO, Abdullah also vowed and confirmed that the action will be completed before the President suspense.

The National Unity Government is almost 3 months old and yet the new cabinet to be introduced.
