Russia calls on NATO for talks to carry supplies from Afghanistan

Russia said that they are ready to keep talks with NATO country members about the transporting of international troops supplies from Afghanistan.

Russian President’s special envoy to Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov said with the beginning to NATO’s new mission in Afghanistan, our last contract will not automatically be canceled, but Russia is ready to talk with NATO regarding this issue.

“NATO has not used the north way to transfer its supplies from Afghanistan during the last year and this issue needs to be discussed and analyzed”, said Kabulov.

He noted that Russia is ready to cooperate with West for the future of Afghanistan.

After attacks on NATO convoys in Pakistan, Russia states readiness to collaborate in transporting international troop’s supplies from Afghanistan.
