Senate’s complaints commission summons acting finance minister, ANHAM officials
Afghan Senate’s compliant commission summoned the acting finance minister and officials in ANHAM Company on Wednesday.
Head of Senate’s complaint commission stated that ANHAM company in cooperation with authorities in finance ministry have imported more than five hundred armored vehicles to Afghanistan without payment of customs.
They said that they have repeatedly shared the issue with the officials in ministry of finance but the ministry did not pay any attention to this case.
Following Ariananews report about the widespread corruption in ANHAM Company, Afghanistan Senate House is concerning about the issue and said that this company has violated all laws of the country.
Earlier, Ariananews found documents that indicated a private company under the name of ANHAM has imported five hundred and fifteen armored vehicles to the country without payment of any customs and the vehicles were rented to the foreign troops.
