Afghanistan’s security interdependent with world’s security: Ghani
President Ghani at a conference in London is said to consider peace one of the top priority of Afghanistan national unity government and stressed that the past will never be repeated again.
At a one-day meeting of envoys from more than 60 countries, President Ghani in two press conferences with British Prime Minister has said that Afghanistan’s security and the world are interdependent.
“Disbelief spaces between the Afghan government and the international community is now defunct” Ghani said after the meeting.
He urged the international community to cooperate with Afghanistan in the absence of dependence on foreign aids.
Afghanistan President also noted that fundamental programs should be done in Afghanistan.
In the meantime, the United Sates plans to keep hundreds of extra troops in Afghanistan on a temporary basis next year, above the force of 9,800 that President Obama had previously announced for 2015.
