ATN secures rights to broadcast exciting DP World ILT20

Once again, Ariana Television Network (ATN) has secured the rights to broadcast the event exclusively across Afghanistan on Ariana Television and on its digital platforms.

The DP World International League T20 (ILT20) Season 4 is set to kick off on Tuesday, 2 December, with defending champions Dubai Capitals taking on the Desert Vipers at the Dubai International Stadium.

Once again, Ariana Television Network (ATN) has secured the rights to broadcast the event exclusively across Afghanistan on Ariana Television and on its digital platforms.

The six-team tournament will feature 34 matches, culminating in the final on Sunday, 4 January 2026.

This season brings added excitement with the participation of several prominent Indian players. Veterans Dinesh Karthik, Piyush Chawla, and Unmukt Chand will join the league, contributing to a stronger Indian presence in what has become one of the world’s fastest-growing T20 competitions.

They join international stars such as Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran, Tim David, and Sam Curran, promising fans a tournament packed with global talent.

Tournament Venues

Dubai International Stadium: 15 matches
Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi: 11 matches
Sharjah Cricket Stadium: 8 matches

Following the opening clash, Sharjah Warriorz, who reached the playoffs for the first time in Season 3, will face the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in Sharjah on 3 December.

After the 30-match double round-robin stage, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs. The championship match will take place on 4 January in Dubai.

This event will wrap up an action-packed year of top-rated sport broadcast across Afghanistan by ATN. Fans across the country have been treated to an array of events including Afghanistan Champions League – which is being screened at the moment.

This was preceded by other domestic and international events including the Abu Dhabi T10; Afghanistan Futsal Premier League; Ariana Snooker Championship 2025 in February; Indian Premier League 2025; The Hundred Men’s Competition 2025 (cricket) in August; 2025 ICC Champions Trophy; Kabul Premier League (domestic T20 cricket); 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) in Riyadh; ILT20 Season 3 in January and FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in June among others.

Abu Muslim Farah and Ariana Khost play out goalless draw in ACL

Abu Muslim Farah and Ariana Khost played out a 0–0 draw in the 13th match of the sixth season of Afghanistan Champions League Roshan in Kabul on Saturday. 

Both sides created chances throughout the match but failed to convert them, as neither team managed to break the deadlock.

Mustafa Omarkhail, a player for Abu Muslim Farah, was named Player of the Match.

Abu Muslim Farah will face Sorkh Poshan Khafi in their next match, while Ariana Khost will take on Istiqlal Kabul.

The sixth season of the Roshan Afghanistan Champions League is being broadcast live on Ariana Television.

ACL season six: Aino Mina and Omar Zawak play out 1–1 draw

Aino Mina Kandahar and Omar Zawak Herat played out a 1–1 draw in the 12th match of the sixth season of Afghanistan Champions League Roshan at the Afghanistan Football Federation Stadium on Saturday.

Aino Mina made a strong start, with Mohammad Yaqoob scoring the opening goal in the sixth minute to put his team ahead.

Omar Zawak Herat responded eight minutes later, as Nematullah Karimi scored the equalizer in the 14th minute.

Both teams pushed for a winning goal in the second half, but neither side could find the breakthrough, and the match ended 1–1.

Ahlullah Darman of Aino Mina Kandahar was named the Player of the Match.

Aino Mina Kandahar will face Sarsabz Yashlar Faryab in their next match, while Omar Zawak Herat will take on Arman FC.

The sixth season of the Roshan Afghanistan Champions League is being broadcast live on Ariana Television.

ACL: Sarsabz Yashlar edge Istiqlal Kabul 2–1

Sarsabz Yashlar Faryab defeated Istiqlal Kabul 2–1 in the 11th match of the sixth season of Afghanistan Champions League Roshan.

The match was played on Friday at the Afghanistan Football Federation Stadium in Kabul.

The two teams played out a balanced first half, with neither side able to break the deadlock.

In the second half, Istiqlql Kabul’s Haroon Noori opened the scoring to put his side 1–0 ahead.

Sarsabz Yashlar responded by increasing the pressure, with Abdullah Maki equalizing in the 67th minute.

Adnan Nemati then scored Sarsab Yashlar’s second goal in the 82nd minute, completing the comeback and securing a 2–1 victory over Esteqlal Kabul.

Matches from the sixth season of Afghanistan Champions League Roshan are being broadcast live on Ariana Television.
