MoPW Signs Road Agreement Contract with Afghan-Turkish Company

Officials in Ministry of public works have signed an agreement with joint Afghan-Turkish Construction Company for road asphalting of Sharana- Angor Ada on Sunday.

Acting Minister of the public works Noor Gul Mangal has said,” the road which connects Center of Ghani to Paktika Province and the it will end to Pakistan soil and the length of the road will be 50 kilo meter.”

Mr. Mangal also insisted that the road construction will cost $52 million and the construction process to be ended after coming two years, which is counted as one of the key business road in between Afghanistan-Pakistan.

Acting Minister Noor Gul Mangal has declared the following road as transit which will play important role in exchanging of goods from both countries.

He added that connecting of the provinces to each other through building of the ring roads and High ways is one of priority programs.

NadirKhan Katawazi the Lower house member has insisted that the road should be asphalted precisely as standard, and there will be no International donors to support the road again after two years of construction.

Mr. Noor has emphasized that we will seriously monitor and evaluate the construction activities on the following road.
