Kabul to host meeting of regional envoys to boost cooperation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) will host a conference of special representatives and ambassadors of neighboring and regional countries titled “Afghanistan’s Regional Cooperation Initiative”.
The meeting will be held on Monday, 29 January.
According to the ministry, the meeting will focus on the need for comprehensive discussions on the development of cooperation between Afghanistan and regional countries.
The ministry stated that the IEA wants to discuss ways to boost regional interaction based on common interests, mutual respect, as well as opportunities for regional connectivity and transit.
