Seasonal diseases on the rise in Nangarhar: Health officials

Officials from Nangarhar Provincial Hospital say the number of people suffering from seasonal diseases, including pneumonia, has increased in the province over the past month.
According to the officials, thousands of people, both adults and children, have visited the hospital for treatment in this time.
“In the last month, 13,500 patients visited our OPD department, out of which, approximately 1,220 patients were hospitalized in different units,” said Fazlullah Sirat, head of Nangarhar Provincial Hospital.
Meanwhile, hospital doctors stated that the rate of seasonal diseases in adults and children has increased compared to previous years, with a high percentage of patients dealing with breathing problems and high fevers.
“Pneumonia has really increased in the province,” said a doctor.
“Respiratory patients should use masks in crowded places to prevent this disease [from spreading],” said another doctor.
Patients being treated at the hospital have voiced satisfaction over their treatment.
“The administration and doctors of this hospital have paid special attention [to me], I am satisfied with them,” said one patient.

Trump unveils first $5 million ‘gold card’ visa

Holding a prototype that bore his face and an inscription “The Trump Card”, the Republican president told reporters that the special visa would probably be available “in less than two weeks”.
“I’m the first buyer,” he said. “Pretty exciting, huh?”
Trump previously said that sales of the new visa, a high-price version of the traditional green card, would bring in job creators and could be used to reduce the US national deficit.
The billionaire former real estate tycoon, who has made the deportation of millions of undocumented migrants a priority for his second term, said the new card would be a route to highly prized US citizenship.
He said in February that his administration hoped to sell “maybe a million” of the cards and did not rule out that Russian oligarchs may be eligible.
