Pakistan’s “Jamaat Islami” party leader to visit Afghanistan in an official invitation
Pakistan’s Jamaat Islami (JI) religio-political party head will visit Afghanistan in an official invitation by President Ghani in the near future.
Sources in the ministry of foreign said that Pakistan’s Jamaat Islami head has been invited by Janan Musa Zai, Afghanistan’s ambassador to Pakistan.
The source also added that the invitation was accepted by the Pakistani religious leader and political, peace issues will be discussed between the two countries in this invitation.
Pakistan’s Jamaat Islami (JI) religious-political party head, Sirajul Haq Mansoor in a meeting with Afghanistan ambassador to Pakistan was said to consider Afghanistan an independent country and also said that Afghanistan has never accepted foreign occupations.
One of former members of Taliban group, Sayeed Akbar Aqa said, “Ties between the two countries is very important and both should have good intentions against each other.”
Afghanistan presidential palace and Afghanistan embassy in Pakistan have declined to comment on the matter.
Jawil Kohestani, an Afghan military analyst said, “Any relation between Afghanistan-Pakistan is not in the interest of Afghanistan and will cause anxiety and panic among people.”
Siraj ul Haq is a political leader in Pakistan. He is originally from Samar Bagh, Distt. Dir, a remote area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan.
Born September 5, 1962, Siraj ul Haq played an active role in student politics in the late 1980s. He also elected all Pakistan presidents of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba in 1988 and 1991.

U.S. says review of Afghanistan policy still underway

Pakistan appoints two consuls general in Kandahar and Mazar-e-Sharif
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has appointed 19 new ambassadors and consuls general for its overseas missions.
Among these appointments, Shahbaz Hussain and Awais Ahmad Khan have been named as Pakistan’s consuls general in Kandahar and Mazar-e-Sharif, respectively.
Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, said in a post on X that these appointments were made with the approval of Shahbaz Sharif, the country’s Prime Minister.
