UN Women Special Representative Susan Ferguson said expanding women’s access to finance was critical to enabling women-led businesses to grow.
Speaking to the BBC, Muttaqi said Afghanistan has developed relations with countries in the region and that engagement with European nations is growing.
The initiative is part of broader cooperation between the EU and the World Bank Group to promote inclusive, private sector–led economic recovery in Afghanistan.
