Bayat Foundation distributes winter aid to needy families in Bamyan
Bayat Foundation distributed food and non-food items to dozens of needy families in Afghanistan’s Bamyan province.
The packages include flour, rice, cooking oil and warm clothes.
“Today, we are witnessing the winter aid packages of Bayat Foundation in Bamyan province, which include clothes such as blankets, jackets, socks, as well as food items including flour, cooking oil and rice,” said Sayed Hakim, a representative of Bayat Foundation.
Foundation officials said that the winter aid packages will reach all the provinces of the country and will continue until the end of the winter season.
The needy families who benefited from the winter aid packages have asked other charitable organizations to help Afghans in need during this cold weather.
“Thank you to the Bayat Foundation, whose winter aid is distributed to the needy people in Bamyan province every year,” said one of the aid recipients.
In addition to assisting with public benefit projects, Bayat Foundation has been providing food and non-food aid to thousands of needy families in the center and provinces of the country every winter for nearly two decades.
