As the fight for a clean environment continues in a climate of increasing urgency, as the ravages of climate change becomes more manifest every day.
Each year the International, Earth Day is honored around the world on April 22, although larger events such as festivals and rallies are often organized for the weekends before or after April 22, Many communities also observe Earth Week or Earth Month, organizing a series of environmental activities throughout the month of April.
Afghanistan as the third country of the world also honored the following day each year on 22 April, in the following gathering officials provide some instructions for keeping clean the environment.
CEO Abdullah Abdullah who attended the Earth Day ceremony instructed all the Afghanistan’s Governmental departments to prioritize this issue.
He insisted that he will mention this issue at the coming council Minister assembly to Ministers.
CEO Abdullah also urged that all the Afghan citizens are responsible to keep the environment clean.

Earth Day broadens the base of support for environmental programs, rekindles public commitment and builds community activism around the world through a broad range of events and activities. Earth Day is the largest civic event in the world, celebrated simultaneously around the globe by people of all backgrounds, faiths and nationalities. More than a billion people participate in campaigns of cleaning environment every year.

He further went on and said;” in order to have our environment clean we need to change the minds to fulfill our responsibility against the environment.”

There earth was challenged when the first countries in the world become more industrial, that means more factories built, Climate change deniers, well-funded oil lobbyists, reticent politicians, a disinterested public, and a divided environmental community all contributed to a strong narrative that overshadowed the cause of progress and change.

At the end he declared that increasing of populations, within the earth cause the climate to be changed and the weather became warmer, more ice melted therefore all the countries should have great programs to decrease such problems.
