Islamabad has accused TTP fighters of using Afghan territory to stage attacks inside Pakistan, a claim Kabul denies, insisting that Pakistan’s security problems are internal matters.
Mohammad Ali Haqmal, the spokesperson for Spin Boldak district, confirmed that fighting has now subsided following a ceasefire request from Pakistan.
“Our Mujahideen remain highly motivated and fully prepared to defend their soil, sovereignty, and people,” he emphasized.
Security officials said the attack took place in the Kurram district of north-western Pakistan, an area that has long been a flashpoint for militant activity.
The statement clarifies that patrolling or appearing in public without the approved uniform is strictly prohibited.
